Mark H. Rachesky, M.D.
Dr. Rachesky is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of MHR Fund Management LLC, a New York-based private equity firm that manages approximately $5 billion of capital and has holdings in public and private companies across a variety of industries.
Dr, Rachesky is also the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, member of the Nominating Committee and the Human Resources and Compensation Committee of Telesat Corporation (NASDAQ: TSAT), and a director and member of the Nominating Committee, the Corporate Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee of Titan International, Inc. (NYSE: TWI). Dr. Rachesky formerly served on the Board of Directors of Loral Space & Communications Inc. until its merger with Telesat Canada in November 2021, on the Board of Directors of Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) until its merger with Traton SE in July 2021, and on the Board of Directors of Emisphere Technologies Inc. until it was acquired by Novo Nordisk in December 2020. Dr. Rachesky also serves on the Board of Directors of Mt. Sinai Hospital Children’s Center Foundation, the Board of Advisors of Columbia University Medical Center, as well as the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Rachesky has been a director of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) since September 2009.
Dr. Rachesky is a member of Lionsgate Studios’ Compensation Committee.
